FirstIgnite is supporting the commercialization of Florida International University’s PFAS reduction technology. This technology is highly efficient and cost-effective, reducing contamination levels to meet the EPA Health Advisory’s desired cleanup level. Additionally, this technology is environmentally friendly and biologically compatible, making it water-soluble.
This technology has a wide range of applications, including environmental remediation of PFAS in water and other media, detection of low-level concentrations of PFAS, and biological remediation of organisms contaminated with PFAS, such as aquatic species and humans. The polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) waste management market is growing, reaching $1.8 billion in 2022, and is projected to reach $2.9 billion by 2031.
Florida International University’s PFAS reduction technology is ready for collaboration (licensing, partnerships, industry feedback, etc.). Is your company the right fit? If you’d be available for a conversation with the Florida International University team, you can schedule a time directly on their team’s calendar here.
